Minister Lynne Brown to speak at a Women and Youth Business Engagement in Motherwell, Port Elizabeth

The Minister of Public Enterprises, Lynne Brown, will be the keynote speaker at a business engagement in Motherwell, Port Elizabeth on Friday (11 November).

Minister Brown will speak on Government’s efforts to accelerate economic development and the creation of opportunities for women and youth in the province, in order to drive economic growth and develop skills.

The business engagement is part of the week-long Imbizo Focus Week under the theme: “Together we move South Africa forward: ‘Our future – make it work’”.

State-Owned Companies (SOCs) such as Eskom, Denel and Transnet will present opportunities available for both women and youth. This is in an effort to bring SOCs in close contact with provincial and local communities where these SOCs have a footprint.
