DWS in Limpopo to clean Blood River as part of Mandela Day

The Department of Water and Sanitation’s Limpopo Regional Office, in partnership with Lepelle Northern Water and Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa will be cleaning the Blood River and the Seshego Dam as part of the Clear River Campaign throughout the Mandela Month.

The main aim is to ensure the clean free flowing rivers for sustainable water supply and water security for these generation and generations to come. Rivers, dams, wetlands and all freshwater ecosystems belong to all of us, and therefore we have a responsibility to make sure our rivers are clean at all times.
