Limpopo Government notes suspension of Vuwani shutdown

The Limpopo Provincial Government would like to note the Pro-Makhado Task Forum for its decision to suspend the shutdown until after Easter. As the Provincial Government, we would like to thank the leadership for seeing the need to have stability, peaceful and tranquillity in LIM 345 over the Easter long weekend.

We hope and wish the same positive spirit can be shown when the schools re-opens on the 18 April 2017. Our believe as Provincial Government the future of every community lay on the young generation. That generation must be carrying books and studying.

Late and former President Nelson Mandela said that, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”. He further said Education is key to eliminating gender inequality, to reducing poverty, to creating a sustainable planet, to preventing needless deaths, illness and foster peace”. Limpopo Government is ready and open to work with all stakeholders on a back to school programme.
