Minister Dipuo Peters opens Harrismith Testing Station during Transport Month in Free State, 18 Oct

Transport Minister, Ms Dipuo Peters together with Free State MEC for Police, Roads and Transport, Mr Sam Mashinini will join the rest of the country in celebrating the official launch of the Province’s 2016 October Transport Month campaign.

Minister Peters and MEC Mashinini will launch the province’s Transport Month campaign by officially opening the Harrismith Testing Station and the Harrismith – Olieviershoek Road (R74) on Tuesday, 18 October 2016.

October Transport Month is a platform used to showcase transport infrastructure projects that have been completed and also to report on the progress of other transport infrastructure projects that have not yet been completed in roads, rail, aviation, maritime and public transport.
