Setsokotsane now in Rustenburg Local Municipality
After completing two weeks of taking services closer to residents of Madibeng Local Municipality in the Bojanala Platinum District Municipality, Bokone Bophirima Provincial Government will for the next three weeks (25 January to 12 February) deliver the much needed services to residents of Rustenburg Local Municipality through its much talked about Setsokotsane. Key to Setsokotsane service delivery approach which is led by Premier Supra Mahumapelo is to amongst others, close the gap between government and the communities, monitor successful implementation of government funded projects, and to ensure that community challenges that require government’s immediate attention are speedily responded to.
Moreover, Setsokotsane affords communities in the Province’s far flung areas the opportunity to get access to government services such as applications for social grants Identity Documents and registration of small-businesses, while at the same time dealing with challenges of basic services such as water, electricity, roads, health and housing.
National Departments that are based in the Province, Provincial Departments, Local Municipalities, State-Owned Enterprises, Private Businesses, Traditional Leaders and the general community, continue to commend Setsokotsane as an exceptional service delivery initiative that has thus far made a meaningful and impressive contribution in the lives of many in the Bokone Bophirima Province.
In the Rustenburg Local Municipality, focused attention will also be on the Municipality’s villages which include amongst others, Boitekong, Bethanie, Mathopestad, Marikana, Robega and Chaneng.
