Update on scholar transport accident in Vhembe District
It has been finally confirmed that all 69 learners taken to Vhufulwi Hospital for medical examination following a bus accident that took place in Ha0Gumbu, Masisi Area transporting learners to Tshikundamalema Sec School have been released and were transported home.
However, it is unfortunate that one of them, Netsianda Phumudzo (20) a grade 10 learner still has to receive more medical attention. Experts intend to take him to Tshilidzini Hospital for further examination on suspected arm crack. We wish him speedy recovery.
The department has arranged with the service provider and alternative transport is provided. Learning and teaching was able to resume in the morning.
May the nation continue to pray for Phumudzo to get well and come back to school the soonest.
