The Deputy Minister of Public Enterprises, Dikobe Ben Martins and KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs, Mr Sihle Zikalala will host a Youth Supplier Forum and Career Expo in Utrecht, Newcastle this Saturday 24 June 2017.
The Youth Supplier Forum and Career Expo come at the helm of Government’s youth month programme to commemorate youth under the theme “Advancing Youth Economic Participation”, in an effort to advance skills development and economic participation of youth in the rural areas.
Young entrepreneurs and/or organised/un-organised youth in business will be afforded the platform to engage on government and State Owned Companies (SOC) supplier development and Business opportunities, with information on business support provided by SOCs Eskom, Transnet, SAFCOL, Denel and South African Express.
SOC career exhibition stands will also be available on the day for learner support and guidance on SOC career opportunities and learner programmes in engineering, technology, aviation, forestry and tourism related fields.
