Parliament Joint Committee meets with University Council Chairs and NSFAS
The Portfolio Committee on Higher Education and Training and the Select Committee on Education will today meet the University Council Chairs in Pretoria on plans to save the academic year.
The Committees will also receive a briefing from the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) and the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO).
The Committees are in Gauteng conducting oversight following the Fees Must Fall movement protests across the country.
All the meetings are open to the media.
