The Office of the Premier of the North West Province is saddened by the untimely death of one of its communicators, Mr Patrick Dooms.
He died at Victoria Hospital in Mahikeng on Saturday, after a short illness.
Mr Dooms joined the Office of the Premier in 2009 as an Assistant Director in the Media Relations Directorate.
Acting Provincial Head of Communication, Mr Brian Setswambung described Mr Dooms as a person who was very dedicated to his work.
Premier Supra Mahumapelo has sent message of condolence to Mr Dooms’ family.
“We are deeply shocked by this untimely death of one of our own. On behalf of the North West Provincial Government, I wish to express my sympathies to the family during this difficult time. We want the family to know that our thoughts and prayers are with them during this trying time,” said Premier Mahumapelo.
