North West Provincial Government calls for speedy recovery of Obakeng Maje
The North West Provincial Government has learnt with shock about the head on collision in which The New Age reporter, Obakeng Maje was involved while travelling from Taung to Mahikeng on Friday 18 December 2015. The accident reportedly took place near Vryburg.
Maje was immediately admitted at the Joe Morolong Hospital in Vryburg. His colleague at The New Age, Elfas Torrerai confirms that Maje is admitted at the Joe Morolong Hospital and that he is in a “critical but stable condition.” Torrerai further confirmed that there are no fatalities reported as a result of the accident.
Premier SOR Mahumapelo has on behalf of the Provincial Government called on motorists to be alert during this festive season, to respect the speed limit and to ensure that they cooperate with fellow road users and traffic authorities.
