North West Legislature’s Committee on Tourism and Rural, Environment and Agricultural Development to conduct oversight visit on rhino poaching
The North West Provincial Legislature’s Portfolio Committee on Tourism and Rural, Environment and Agricultural Development will be conducting a series of meetings during the 6 – 9 September 2016 at the Bojanala district.
Issues that will form part of the discussions is the rhino poaching which has seen a total of 363 rhinos, poached in South Africa from January until April 2016 alone. The North West province has suffered a loss of more than 15 rhinos poached during the period mentioned.
