Parliament hosts Speaker of the National Assembly of Republic of Korea, 15 to 18 Mar

National Assembly Speaker, Ms Baleka Mbete, and the National Council of Provinces Chairperson, Ms Thandi Modise, will welcome the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, Dr Chung Ui-Hwa to Parliament for a three-day visit tomorrow.

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea and his delegation are on an official visit to the Republic of South Africa from 15 - 18 March 2016.

Photo opportunities for Wednesday, 16 March 2016 include: 

  • Wreath laying by the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea at the Nelson Mandela Memorial in front of the National Assembly steps at 11h50 

  • Signing of distinguished guest book in the foyer of the National Assembly at 11h55 

  • Exchange of gifts with the NCOP Chairperson in the Queen’s Hall, NCOP Building at 14h55 

Dr Chung and his delegation will attend a plenary of the National Assembly tomorrow.
