Minister Radebe to conduct front line service delivery monitoring and community imbizo

The Minister in the Presidency for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation and Chairperson of the National Planning Commission, Jeff Radebe will visit Dennilton, Limpopo Province, to conduct a Front Line Service Delivery Monitoring (FSDM) followed by Public Participation Programme (imbizo)

The FSDM is aimed at assessing the quality of services offered to the community and to determine sustainable interventions required for those facilities. The programme seeks to instill a culture of self-monitoring in government departments with a view of improving the quality of service delivery, planning and accountability.

The FSDM programme will immediately be followed by the community Imbizo which is intended to engage citizens on service delivery matters as well as galvanising active participation in the implementation of the NDP as a roadmap towards radical socioeconomic transformation and social cohesion.

The visit to Dennilton and Imbizo will conducted as follows:
