Minister Naledi Pandor attends the 3rd BRICS Science, Technology and Innovation Ministerial Meeting in Russia and the Specialised Technical Committee Meeting of the Ministers of Education, Science and Technology in Addis Ababa
The Minister of Science and Technology, Naledi Pandor, is in Russia to attend the 3rd Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa (BRICS) Science, Technology and Innovation Ministerial Meeting, scheduled to take place on 28 October 2015 in Moscow.
Minister Pandor is expected to present a statement on South Africa's stance on science, technology and innovation during the meeting.
On Friday, 30 October 2015, Minister Pandor will attend the first Specialised Technical Committee Meeting on Education, Science and Technology in Addis Ababa in Ethiopia.
The Specialised Technical Committee Meeting is convened to discuss and adopt Africa's strategic policy documents for consideration by the next African Union Summit of Heads of State and Government (the AU Summit).
