Minister Angie Motshekga wishes vhembe learners good luck for exam

The Minister of Basic Education, Mrs Angie Motshekga, wishes Grade 12 learners in the Vhembe district the best of luck. The matriculants are rewriting Life Sciences paper 2 tomorrow, December 8.

All schools in the Vhembe district rewrote the Life Sciences paper 1 on Friday. The examination sat and there were no incidents reported. The scripts have been received and marking is currently underway.

This should be a lesson to those learners who did get the paper prior to the previous examination that there are no short cuts, and it is only through hard work and diligent study that you can do well and succeed. This is an opportunity for all the learners in the district to do even better, if they studied hard for the initial examination then this would have been revision.

We have deployed DBE monitors to the province to assist with the administration of the examination. A total of 15 960 full time and 1 540 part time candidates will write the Life Sciences examination.

Once again the Minister wishes all learners in the Vhembe District of Limpopo good luck for this examination and wishes the Matric class of 2015 a restful festive season before the results are announced on the 5th of January 2016. Results will be available in schools from the 6th of January 2016.
