Minister of Justice and Correctional Services, Adv. Michael Masutha (MP), will deliver an annual budget policy statement before the National Assembly on 19 April 2016.
The aim of the budget is to outline the targets and priorities set for the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development (DoJ&CD) for the 2016/17 financial year.
Members of the media are invited to a media briefing prior to the delivery of the budget vote speech, where Minister Masutha will highlight the key areas of focus for the 2015/16 financial year. This will present an opportunity for the department to reflect on the progress made in the past financial and to map a way forward on future commitments.
