Minister Zulu embarks on Youth Empowerment in Free State
Minister of Small Business Development, Ms Lindiwe Zulu, will deliver a keynote address at the Youth Empowerment Day which will be held Odendaalsrus, Free State, on Monday, 26 June 2017.
The Department of Small Business Development will be hosting this event in partnership with Matjhabeng Local Municipality under the theme: “Unlocking youth Potential, Transferring Skills to Create Sustainable Competitive Advantage through Radical Economic Transformation”.
This event is geared towards creating a platform for economic dialogue between various stakeholders, transferring of business skills, facilitating in the establishment of Co-operatives and enhancing mentorship and business after care services.

There will also be a selection of six beneficiaries who will have the opportunity to acquire skills that will enhance their entrepreneurship journey. At the end of the session, there will also be the presentation of an award for the Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
SMMEs and Co-operatives will be showcasing their entrepreneurial prowess by showcasing their products.
