MEC Donald Grant and Provincial Traffic Chief to brief the media on the 2016 Provincial Easter Operational Plan

Tomorrow, 23 March 2016, Minister of Transport and Public Works, Donald Grant, and the Department’s Provincial Traffic Chief, Kenny Africa, will be briefing the media on the 2016 Safely Home Provincial Easter Operational Plan. The plan will outline the planned interventions, over this upcoming Easter weekend, to ensure that the many people that will be taking to the roads over this period do so safely, and comply fully with the law.

Minister Grant and Chief Africa will be providing details on planned enforcement activities, as well as the multimedia “First Kiss” campaign that is currently being rolled out under the #BeTheChange hashtag.

All media are invited and welcome to attend. There will be opportunity for interviews and photographs. Please indicate if you will be in attendance.
