The Minister of Home Affairs, Malusi Gigaba, will on Wednesday 6 July 2016 attend the Eid Prayer to mark the end of Ramadan, at Rosina Sedibane Sports Fields, in Centurion. He will therefore be joining other South Africans in wishing the Muslim community a happy Eid ul-Fitr.
For the Muslim community in South Africa and abroad, Ramadan is a time of deep introspection and prayer wherein family and community bonds are strengthened, with acts of generosity, as well as service to the most vulnerable.
