Minister Faith Muthambi wishes public servants a peaceful Easter weekend

The Minister for the Public Service and Administration Ms Faith Muthambi wishes all public servants and their families a peaceful Easter Weekend.  The Minister urges public servants and South Africans at large to obey the rules of the roads and co-operate with the law enforcement agencies who will be executing their responsibilities on the roads.

“To public servants, we hope you will spend quality time with your families.  Our thoughts will also be with families of public servants, who by nature of their work, they have to be on duty keeping motorists and pedestrians safe on the roads,” said Minister Muthambi.

The Minister calls upon public servants who will be on duty to be exemplary by conducting themselves in line with the Batho Pele Principles.  To public servants who will be off duty, the Minister calls upon them to remain true to the principles of Batho Pele Value Statement – We Belong, We Care, We Serve.
