Basic Education Minister Mrs Angie Motshekga and Limpopo Education MEC Ishmael Kgetjepe to visit Vuwani
The Minister of Basic Education, Mrs Angie Motshekga and Limpopo MEC Mr Ishmael Kgetjepe will on Monday, 30 January 2017 visit Vuwani in Limpopo.
The visits come after the extra ordinary efforts of the class of 2016 at schools in the area who achieved sterling results in the face of grave unrest in the Vuwani area leading up to examinations. In Response the Department established three month long camps where safe learning and teaching could take place.
In addition the Minister and MEC will on Tuesday 31 January 2017 visit the Lebowakgomo District where the delegation will visit the high flying Sethwethwa High School, A.J Van Der Merwe, Kgagatlou High Schools as well as Motsobane Primary School.
The Minister and MEC will extend their congratulations to the school management teams and motivate the class of 2017 to achieve and find courage from the exploits of those before them.
