Minister of Communications Ms Faith Muthambi to address the Youth Brigade congregants of the United African Apostolic Church at Nzhelele Ha-Mavhungu in Limpopo
Minister of Communications Ms Faith Muthambi will address the Youth Brigade congregants of United African Apostolic Church on Sunday, 26 June, 2016 at the church headquarters in Nzhelele. The visit by the Minister comes as South Africa celebrates Youth month.
“As we wrap the 40th anniversary of the June 16 Soweto Uprising and other related uprisings, it is imperative to take stock of the strides we have made and a reminder of the challenges that still remain. During the apartheid years, the churches and our youth made a tremendous contribution towards the struggle for freedom. It was these very institutions of religion and the steadfast moral obligation by the youth formation of that era which led our people in protests, marching boldly into the firing line of apartheid,” said Muthambi.
