MEC for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Paul Mashatile, welcomes the adoption of the 2017/18 Budget and IDP by the Mogale City Council today.
"I am elated by this positive development as this patriotic move creates space for the municipality to execute its constitutional mandate of delivering services to the residents", MEC Mashatile said.
"I wish to congratulate all the parties that put the interests of the citizens of Mogale City above their political ones. May this spirit of working together to improve the lives of our people continue as the municipality continues on its journey to bring stability within its ranks and developments within the Mogale City area", MEC Mashatile continued.
MEC Mashatile is urging all parties to concentrate on implementing what is contained in the IDP and return the municipality to its former glory.
"My team from COGTA will upscale the support that it has been providing to the municipality to ensure that the people of Mogale City receive uninterrupted services", MEC Mashatile concluded.
