MEC Molapisi leads road maintenance and celebrates Departmental Youth Day with National Youth Service Programme (NYSP) beneficiaries
In line with the 47th anniversary of the June 16 Soweto and other related uprisings, the North West Department of Public Works and Roads will celebrate Youth Month with the beneficiaries of the National Youth Service Programme (NYSP).
The MEC for Public Works and Roads, Gaoage Oageng Molapisi will lead the two-day celebration with 300 out of the 971 beneficiaries across the province. Department of Social Development, Department of Economic Development, Environment, Conservation and Tourism, as well as the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) and other stakeholders will also be exhibiting as part of capacity building on entrepreneurship and skills development.
Details of the event are as follows:
Day One (1) - Road Maintenance (pothole patching and road-marking) with thirty (30) beneficiaries of the NYSP in partnership with JB Marks Local Municipality:

Day Two (2) – MEC Molapisi to deliver a keynote address to three hundred (300) beneficiaries who will also benefit from the exhibitions and receive Business Management Training
