MEC Desbo Mohono congratulates Natasha Sesing for qualifying into Youth Leadership programme

North West MEC for Tourism Desbo Mohono congratulated Natasha Sesing for qualifying into the top six of the Youth Leadership programme called “One day Leader” on SABC 1. MEC Mohono’s accolade are also based on Sesing’s contributions to tourism growth in general and also pioneering youth issues relating to the tourism sector.

According to Mohono, young people like Sesing needs to be nurtured and prepared for the future. “Most of our young people are facing social challenges and are not showing interest in becoming leaders. Nathasha Sesing has shown her capabilities and keen interest in taking a lead in social issues. Her contribution during the tourism makgotla that was held last year and debates on youth in tourism has truly shown, that if supported and guided properly she can make a good leader. I must say she will also carry the A re yeng Bokone Bophirima brand property forward as the young person with determination, hunger and resilience” said Mohono.

Mohono went on to say that her wish is for this young and bright diamond to emerge as the ultimate winner in the national contest and show other young stars from villages such as Shaleng, Manthe, Losasaneng, Pudumoe in Taung that the North West Province is full of opportunities and that they can also be like her. She said that beside the provincial government’s programme of growing the economy in the Villages, Townships and Small Dorpies, there are other programmes that seek to unearth many other young stars with great skills and acumen like Sesing. She urge everybody within the province to rally behind this dynamite and cast their vote when the lines open for voting next week Monday.

The pint sized Sesing who is currently enrolled at the North West University-Mahikeng Campus as a fourth year Social Work student has travelled overseas embarking on programmes that empower the youth. Last year saw Sesing’s inputs been included in North West State of the Province Address rendered by the Honourable Premier Supra Mahumapelo.
