MEC Ismail Vadi announces major anti-corruption measures for all DLTCs
Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport MEC Ismail Vadi will on Thursday, 26 January 2017 announce major anti-corruption measures for all provincial and municipal Driver Licensing Testing Centres (DLTCs).
Measures include possible arrests and suspension of officials allegedly implicated in fraud and corruption related activities. The departmental investigating team has for some time been working closely with the Hawks and other law enforcement agencies to root out corruption at the centres.
MEC will further provide details of how much the provincial government lost due to fraud and corruption at the DLTCs.
