The MEC for Education, honourable Ishmael Kgetjepe will tomorrow visit Schools in Vuwani area. The MEC will encourage both learners and teachers to work hard and make sure learning and teaching do not get hindered again.
He will also be looking at how the catch-up plan is being implemented. Learners in protest affected schools of Vuwani and Educators were at school today where learning and teaching proceeded smoothly. This is what is expected throughout the whole year and both community members, educators and learners are committing.
The MEC will start at Mugoidwa Secondary School at 7h00. Four classrooms were torched last night in this school. Mr Kgetjepe strongly condemns all acts of vandalism to education properties and encourages communities to guard against these acts in all government properties, which are in fact community properties.
