MEC Faith Mazibuko Mazibuko mourns loss of gospel singer Sfiso Ncwane

The Gauteng MEC for Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation Faith Mazibuko has expressed shock and sadness at the news of the passing of yet another young musician in Sfiso Ncwane.

Ncwane who died at age 37 adds to the list of entertainers including musicians and sports stars who died too soon whilst a lot was still expected. The list includes the recently departed Mandoza, Flaba Habedi, Bojo Mujo, Lulu Dikana, Lesego Motsepe, Lebo Mathosa, Simba Mhere, Senzo Myeiwa, Mbulaeni Mulaudzi, Phindile Mvelase and the list is endless. 

Says MEC Mazibuko: “Condolences to the Ncwane family, loved ones and all gospel music lovers. May you find peace, healing and comfort in the words he sang so well "kulungile baba".

“Sfiso had grown not only to be a household name but a voice that gave hope to many. The Creative industry and more so Gospel sector and the fans will miss him dearly”.
