MEC Faith Mazibuko hands over sports equipment to tournament directors, 14 Dec

Gauteng gives support to Festive Community Games

To launch the community festive games taking place across the Gauteng City Region, MEC for Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation Faith Mazibuko will on Wednesday, 14 December 2016, hand over sports equipment to about 60 tournament directors.

The event takes place at the newly built Kagiso Memorial Centre.  

Various tournaments directors including Pollen Ndlanya, Ernest Makhanya and many others will be present to receive material including attire, trophies, balls etc. 

A number of festive games inclusive of soccer, netball, volleyball etc. are taking place across the 5 regions -in Tshwane; Johannesburg; Sedibeng; Mogale City and Ekurhuleni- and these include the Pollen Ndlanya Games, Tokies Festival Games, Ernest Makhanya games and many more.
