KZN MEC for Finance, Mrs Belinda Scott, invites journalists to join her and the Legislature Delegation when they visit schools in uMgungundlovu District tomorrow (11 January 2017).
MEC Scott, who is also uMgungundlovu District Political Champion, will visit various schools in the district to ensure that teaching and learning starts on the first day of school opening.
The visits are part of the Legislature's province-wide School Opening Functionality Monitoring Programme, conducted under the theme “Doors of Learning Shall be opened for All”.
The delegation will ensure that all schools are open and teaching starts on the first day. They will give guidance where challenges prevail so that learners can get quality education that they deserve.
