Please receive the attached invite from Public Works Minister Thulas Nxesi, MP, as addresses community of Lwandle in Cape Town regarding the department’s intervention and investment in the youth. He will actively engage and discuss pertinent issues affecting the development and socio economic factors in the community.
The intervention has resulted in the identification and appointment of 30 young people in various fields of work through the department’s Non State Sector programme. The event will be held today at the Simanyene High school in Strand, Cape Town in the Western Cape at 17:00.
The aim of the department’s interventions is to uplift the community by creating work opportunities for young people and contributing towards alleviating poverty in disadvantaged communities.
