Limpopo Provincial EXCO Lekgotla
Limpopo Provincial Government will hosts a two days Executive Council (EXCO) Lekgotla on the 16 and 17 February 2017, Bela-Bela Municipality.
Premier of Limpopo, Mr Chupu Stanley Mathabatha will deliver an opening address at Lekgotla. The Lekgotla comes at a time the Provincial Government is preparing to host the State of the Province Address (SOPA) which outlines programmes for the coming financial year. Lekgotla is part of a high level strategic planning to make inputs into the upcoming SOPA to be held later this month.
The Lekgotla will be attended by all Members of Executive Councils (MECs), Executive Mayors, Director-General of Limpopo Provincial Government, Heads of Departments, Heads of parastatals and their board chairpersons.
The key objectives for the EXCO Lekgotla are as follows:
- To assess progress on the implementation of planned programmes and projects during the 2016/17 financial year;
- To review expenditure trends to date and the budget adjustments as implemented following the November 2016 Budget Lekgotla; and
- To interrogate and approve the planned programmes and projects for 2017/18.
