The Department of Correctional Services (DCS) has taken note of the ruling by the Durban Labour Court that the suspension of DCS Regional Commissioner for KwaZulu-Natal, Mr. Mnikelwa Nxele, be uplifted.
Correctional Services National Commissioner, Mr. Zach Modise, has decided to place Mr. Nxele on special leave. As this matter is currently before court, public discussion is restricted.
