Justice invites child maintenance payers

Justice invites child maintenance payers and beneficiaries to update their information for faster payments

The Department of Justice and Constitutional Development has embarked on the information verification drive to support the updating of maintenance files, which form the bulk of the Third Party Funds (TPF) payments from the beginning of April 2016.

In particular, the department invites those who live in Gauteng or Northern Cape and are paying or receiving child maintenance monies, to update their personal information. This information verification drive is intended to ensure that child maintenance payments are administered in a smart and faster manner.

Child maintenance obligors and beneficiaries may either visit the nearest magistrate court with the necessary documents to verify their details or download the forms on the departmental website www.justice.gov.za. The downloaded forms can either be submitted in hard copy or by email at Maintenance@justice.gov.za by 31 May 2016.
