President Jacob Zuma has extended his heartfelt condolences on the passing of late ‘football legend’ Jeff Butler.
Butler was the former Kaizer Chief Coach who guided the football club to numerous victories including the JPS Knockout Cup, the National Soccer League championship and the BP Top Eight Cup, between1988 and 1996. Jeff Butlerpassed away on Saturday, following a long illness
“This is yet another huge loss to the sporting fraternity in a short space of time. We are with his family in thoughts and prayers during this trying period. May his soul rest in peace,” President Zuma said.
