Police hosts Public Order Policing Parade and Take a Girl Child to Work campaign, 30 May

Invitation to two South African Police Service events on 30 May 2017 - Parade regarding improving the capacity of Public Order Policing and participation in the Take a Girl Child to Work Campaign

The South African Police Service (SAPS), invites the media to two events taking place at the SAPS Tshwane Academy in Pretoria West on 30 May 2017, a parade regarding improving the capacity of Public Order Policing (POP) and SAPS’s participation in the Take a Girl Child to Work campaign.

There will be a symbolic handing over of a number of vehicles to POP Unit Commanders from various provinces and the unveiling of the POP operator’s badge.

POP will, together with other SAPS units, showcase crowd management techniques and crime fighting capabilities in the presence of 200 pupils who will be partaking in our Take a Girl Child to Work campaign.

Besides a parade, there will also be an exhibition to familiarise the learners on various career paths that they may follow within the SAPS.
