Integrated Energy Centre (IeC)
The Department of Energy will launch the Ngwaabe Integrated Energy Centre (IeC) on 4 November 2016 at Ngwaabe, Fetakgomo - Greater Tubatse Municipality. The IeC is a one-stop energy shop owned and operated by the community cooperative and organised as a community project. It provides energy solutions to communities, access to affordable, safe and sustainable energy services.
This project is implemented by the DoE in partnership with SHELL SA and the Fetakgomo - Greater Tubatse Municipality.
The Minister of Energy, Ms Tina Joemat-Pettersson, representatives from SHELL, the Limpopo provincial leadership and senior government officials will attend this important event.
