Limpopo hosts EXCO Imbizo at Mudavula village, 14 Oct

Destitute families enjoy benefits from the government

The Limpopo Provincial Government led by Premier Chupu Stanley Mathabatha understands that development is about people. The government continues to deliver service to struggling communities by taking care of destitute families. Ms Rhulani Olga Mathebula, her four sibling and their children will see their dignity being restored.

The family is located at Mbalati Village near Mudavula under Lim 345 Municipality. Their late mother left them in two mud houses when she met her tragic death with her three grand children due to a fire incident in 2013.

The Premier and his Members of Executive Council will then proceed to the sod turning of Mr Gezani Steven Bila‘s house. He built himself a corrugated iron shack which is open and life threatening during heavy storms and rainfall. The Executive Council will proceed to an EXCO Imbizo at Mudavula village under the newly established Lim 345 Municipality in Vhembe District.

EXCO Imbizo is an interactive programme between government leaders and communities. The aim of the outreach programme is for government leadership to access first-hand information. This is also a platform for communities to raise issues concerning service delivery and let government intervene.

The Premier will also be accompanied by Executive Mayor of Vhembe, Mayor of Lim 345 Municipality, traditional leaders, Acting Director-General of our province and senior government officials.
