Youth expo kicks off the 40th anniversary of June 16 uprising
The Gauteng Provincial Government will, on June 10 2016, kick off the second Gauteng Youth Career, Jobs and Entrepreneurship Expo at the Nasrec Expo Centre in Soweto, which will be opened by MEC for Education, Mr Panyaza Lesufi.
More than 200 exhibitors have confirmed participation, with about 40 000 young people – high school learners; higher education institution youth; young workers and professionals and unemployed youth expected to attend.
Programmes that will kick-start the 10-day event include:
Media Tour
Youth Parliament
Central Corridor dialogue
The screening of Sarafina at the Soweto Theatre
An anti-racism workshop
