Forging ahead to finding solutions to Xenophobia

Efforts to intensify social cohesion and find lasting solutions to incidents of xenophobia in Gauteng continue this weekend when the provincial Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation, hosts the Somali Community Board over a gala dinner. 

The event takes place tomorrow Saturday, 23 May in Forsdburg, west of Johannesburg. 

Expected to attend include various African Embassies and the African Diaspora Forum. 

The MEC for Sport, Arts Culture and Recreation Ms Molebatsi Bopape will deliver the keynote address to outline government’s plans to ensure all communities live and work together and contribute towards Gauteng’s growth and development.
