The Director-General of Home Affairs, Mkuseli Apleni will on Wednesday, 08 March 2017, brief members of the media on proposals to reposition the Department within the state security apparatus.
On 01 March 2017, Cabinet approved the proposed measures set out in the Business Case to reposition the Department of Home Affairs to enable it to contribute to national security while protecting the citizens, systems and data.
