Deputy Minister Tokozile Xasa launches Executive Development Programme for Black women tourism sector, 15 Mar

The Deputy Minister of Tourism Ms Tokozile Xasa, in partnership with the UNISA Graduate School of Business Leadership, cordially invites you to the Launch of the Executive Development Programme (EDP) for Black women managers in the tourism sector.

The main objective of the programme is to train black female managers, through a recognised South African business school, to prepare them for the executive or board positions in the tourism sector. The programme aims to place females from all the nine provinces on the Executive Development Progarmme to equip them with the requisite management skills and qualifications for the tourism sector.

The ultimate goal is that once the graduates are well equipped with the business management skills, they will also be confident to start and grow their own tourism businesses to help change the skewed ownership patterns, and create a pool of black industrialists for the growing tourism sector in the near future.

Date: Tuesday, 15 March 2016
Time: 9h30 to 10h30 (arrival from 09h00)
Venue: UNISA, Graduate School of Business Leadership, Boardroom 5 at Midrand campus
