On 21 March 2016, the Deputy Minister of Communications, Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams in collaboration with the National Application Centre and Department of Correctional Services, will embark on an oversight visit to the Boksburg Juvenile Correctional Centre.
The purpose of the visit is to assess the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sponsorship which was made to the Correctional Centre at the launch of the Education for Offenders & Reading Redemption Programme in 2014.
Additionally, the Deputy Minister will engage with the community, Centre personnel and inmates on Human Rights Day to honour this historic day and celebrate how far the nation has progressed in this regard.
