Corruption in project and construction registrations
The South African Council for Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) has detected large scale corruption in the registration of project and construction management professions, as well as in construction health and safety registrations. The council is concerned with the protection of the public against this type of unethical conduct.
You are invited to a media briefing where:
- Nkosinathi Nhleko, Minister of Public Works,
- Eric Manchidi, President of the SACPCMP and
- Nomvula Rakolote, Registrar of the SACPCMP
will outline what the forensic audit findings were and what steps will be taken.
They will take questions.
