Grade 12 enrichment programme starts to prepare for final examinations
The Department, in collaboration with the National Community Radio Station Forum representing 23 Community radio stations in the province in all the ten education Districts, has embarked on a Radio Enrichment Programme that is aimed to aid Grade 12 learners in their preparation for the 2016 final examinations.
It is the view of the Department that radio, unlike other media, is accessible to all parts of the province, and is therefore an unselective means of reaching all learners.
The programme is scheduled to run for 12 weeks, commencing on the 12 September and ending on the 24 November 2016, on all 23 Community radio stations. Lessons will be transmitted between 20h00 – 21h00 from Monday to Friday and 11h00 -12h00 on Saturday and Sunday.
Grade 12 learners are therefore urged to take advantage of the programme in their preparation of their final examination. The programme is equally extended to Grade 12 part time candidates who have registered to write the 2016 National Senior Certificate examinations.
