A call to the 2016/17 Examination Assistants to apply
The Limpopo Department of Education calls for applications from temporary casual personnel to be appointed as Examination Assistants to assist the department in the administration of National Senior Certificate, Amended Senior Certificate and Adult Education plus Training Level 4 Examinations. Suitable applicants that fulfil the requirements are invited to apply for this task. Minimum requirements are as follows:
- Unemployed graduates (less than thirty five (35) years of age).
- Must be registered at a tertiary institution (must provide document proof).
- Must be a South African citizen staying in Limpopo Province.
- Must be available every day for the full period which examination related activities take place.
- Must be prepared to work under extreme pressure with tight deadlines.
- Must have excellent numerical skills.
Applicants may be required to work at a Centre away from their places of residence. In this case they will be accommodated at a school hostel. To apply for a position as an Examination Assistant, applicants are requested to complete the LPE34 application forms available at departmental offices and on website of the department, www.edu.limpopo.gov.za.
Applicants must submit the application forms with recently certified copies of Identity document, academic results, evidence of current registration of tertiary institution and a brief Curriculum Vitae (CV) of at least two pages.
Fully completed application forms should be sent to Circuit Offices, District (Examination Section) and at the Provincial Office (Examinations and Assessment Chief Directorate, Office 15, 72 Hoof Street, Superbia, Polokwane).
The closing date for applications is 15 July 2016.
