Bonteheuwel family devastated by fire to be assisted by department
The Western Cape MEC of Social Development, Adv. Albert Fritz, is rendering departmental assistance towards the family of a mother and daughter pair who tragically died in a fire at their home in Bonteheuwel.
The fire, which occurred on Monday, left the nine remaining family members devastated and in need of assistance.
As part of our efforts to assist families through periods of undue hardship, the Western Cape Department of Social Development is assessing the family situation, and will provide psycho-social and funeral support to the family during this difficult time.
