MEC Faith Mazibuko visits schools to assess state of readiness, 13 Jan

Gauteng MEC for Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation Ms Faith Mazibuko will tomorrow 13 January 2016, visit and open doors of learning at 2 new state-of-the-art ICT schools in the south of Johannesburg. This is part of Gauteng government’s School Readiness campaign to ensure teaching and learning takes place on the first day of school.

The MEC will be at Glenvista Primary in Glenvista, Duzenendlela and Moyisela Primary schools in Orange Farm on a day that will see the entire Gauteng cabinet deployed to various schools across the Gauteng City Region.

As part of creating and promoting conducive learning, the MEC will among others meet stakeholders and handover sport accessories and dignity packs to young girls within the schools. At Moyisela Primary the MEC will handover school uniform.
