A private agency or bargaining council may apply to the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) for accreditation to:
- resolve disputes through conciliation, and
- arbitrate disputes that remain unresolved after conciliation.
The CCMA may require further information in support of the application and may require the applicant to attend one or more meetings with them.
