Introduction
When we were given the privilege to provide leadership to this administrations as the Office of the Premier, we identified as our core function planning, co-ordination, monitoring and evaluation of the Provincial Government’s service delivery programmes.
We set out to position ourselves to be able to respond better to the challenge to align our national and provincial priorities in recognition of the absolutely critical contribution the Province of KwaZulu-Natal has to make in order for South Africa to move forward.
As we gravitate towards the completion of our mission at the apex of this administration, we pause to reflect on what we set out to achieve, how we have performed and how we intend to utilise the resources placed at our disposal for the remainder of the term to further consolidate the gains and strive even more to deliver the better life that our beloved Madiba sought to give to all of South Africa’s children.
